What customers say about the 2026 harvest.
How we make it
Three steps, all done by hand in our own honey house.
1Harvest with the bloom
Colonies move with the flowers, from spring rapeseed to late-summer forest. We only take what the bees can spare.
2Cold extraction
Frames are spun at room temperature and strained once through linen. No heating and no fine filtering.
3Jarred by hand
Every jar is filled, sealed and labelled with its harvest date and lot number.
Only pure & raw, naturally
All products
Liquid or creamy, mild or bold. Every jar is from the 2026 season.
A small honey house with 42 hives
We are a family beekeeping business from Brandenburg. Since 2011 we have moved our colonies with the bloom, from rapeseed fields in May to spruce forests in August.
Why we keep bees
It started with one colony in the garden and a lot of questions. Today beekeeping is our job, but the idea is the same: take only what the bees can spare and let every harvest taste of the place it comes from.
That is why our honey is never heated, never blended with imported honey and never fine-filtered. Every lid carries a lot number, so you can trace your jar back to its hive and harvest week.
“A good honey tastes like one summer in one place. Our job is not to get in the way.”The beekeepers at Bienenhaus
A year at the hives
Waking up
First flights in March. We check every colony and move the first hives to the rapeseed fields.
Harvest
Acacia, wildflower, lavender and forest. Up to five harvests, each extracted and jarred separately.
Giving back
The bees keep their own honey for winter. We treat for varroa with organic acids only.
Quiet season
The colonies cluster and rest. We repair frames, plan the season and pack your orders.
Made for giving
